Esta monografia estuda a imagens da mulher brasileira durante a ditadura militar (1964-85). Seu objetivo geral é refletir sobre a representação da mulher apoiando-se em anúncios da revista Veja para através deles inferir qual o lugar da mulher na própria sociedade. Esta monografia estuda a imagens da mulher brasileira durante a ditadura militar (1964-85). Seu objetivo geral é refletir sobre a representação da mulher apoiando-se em anúncios da revista Veja para através deles inferir qual o lugar da mulher na própria sociedade. Inicialmente discute a partir de Fico (1997), Carvalho (2002) e Burke e Briggs (2006) o contexto social, histórico e midiático do mundo e do Brasil, para debater acerca de conceitos de sexo e gênero e apresentar uma retrospectiva global e local do feminismo, de acordo com Beauvoir (1954) e Scott (2012). Por fim, elenca os arquétipos femininos estático e dinâmico e verifica seus usos nos anúncios. O corpus da pesquisa é composto de 17 peças, uma de cada edição da Semana Internacional da Mulher, de 1969 a 1985. Através de ponderação quantitativa e qualitativa, a pesquisa considera que grande parte dos anúncios são negativos e reproduzem enunciados da dominação masculina. ...

This monograph studies the images of Brazilian women during the Military Dictatorship (1964-85). Its general purpose is to reflect on the representation of women relying on advertisements from Veja magazine to, trough them, infer about what is the role of women in society itself.Initially, it is about from Fico (1997), Carvalho (2002) e Burke e Briggs (2006) the social,historical and media context from the world and from Brazil in order to debate about the concepts of sex and gender and present a global and local retrospective of the feminism, according to Beauvoir (1954) and Scott (2012).Finally, it consists on the feminine archetypes static and dynamic and verifies their uses in advertisements of the corpus, wich is composed of 17 parts, each one from one editon of the International Women's Week, from 1969 to 1985.By quantitative and qualitative balance, the research considers that most of the advertisements are negative and reproduce utterances of male domination. ...
