Análise da produção científica sobre o antropoceno e mudanças climáticas indexada na Brapci (2015–2025)

Abstract

O presente trabalho busca entender como se caracterizam os estudos sobre o Antropoceno e as mudanças climáticas indexados na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação - Brapci entre 2015 e 2025. Tendo como objetivos específicos: 1) caracterizar o contexto da produção científica; 2) verificar os principais enfoques temáticos adotados nos estudos sobre Antropoceno e mudanças climáticas; 3) identificar as fontes de informação nas quais os estudos foram publicados ou apresentados; 4) identificar as áreas do conhecimento dos pesquisadores; e 5) conhecer os termos utilizados nos documentos indexados na Brapci para representar o assunto “Antropoceno” e “mudanças climáticas” e analisar como esse debate é construído. A reflexão teórica é realizada a partir de estudos que mostram o meio ambiente sob a ótica da Ciência da Informação ancorados pelas teorias de Borko, Le Coadic, Leff, Beck, Hannigan e Morin. Em relação à metodologia empregada, após o levantamento sistemático na Brapci foram recuperados 83 documentos pertinentes e submetidos à Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin para observar os principais enfoques temáticos que envolvem os termos Antropoceno e mudanças climáticas. A análise dos dados coletados permitiu observar forte interdisciplinaridade nos estudos, envolvimento de diversas áreas do conhecimento, fontes de informação fragmentadas, dentro do escopo da Ciência da Informação, além da integridade da informação que emerge como conceito central e tendência que procura articular desinformação, negacionismo científico e a questão climática como um problema social contemporâneo. Assim a produção científica do período analisado caracteriza-se como interdisciplinar e com múltiplos enfoques temáticos.

This study aims to understand how studies on the Anthropocene and climate change indexed in the Brazilian Database in Information Science (Brapci) between 2015 and 2025 are characterized. Its specific objectives are: 1) to characterize the context of scientific production; 2) to verify the main thematic approaches adopted in studies on the Anthropocene and climate change; 3) to identify the information sources in which the studies were published or presented; 4) to identify the areas of knowledge of the researchers; and 5) to understand the terms used in the documents indexed in Brapci to represent the subject "Anthropocene" and "climate change" and to analyze how this debate is constructed. The theoretical reflection is based on studies that show the environment from the perspective of Information Science, anchored in the theories of Borko, Le Coadic, Leff, Beck, Hannigan, and Morin. Regarding the methodology employed, after a systematic survey in Brapci, 83 relevant documents were retrieved and subjected to the Content Analysis proposed by Bardin to observe the main thematic approaches involving the terms Anthropocene and climate change. The analysis of the collected data revealed strong interdisciplinarity in the studies, involvement of diverse areas of knowledge, fragmented information sources within the scope of Information Science, and the integrity of information, which emerges as a central concept and trend that seeks to articulate misinformation, scientific denialism, and the climate issue as a contemporary social problem. Thus, the scientific production of the period analyzed is characterized as interdisciplinary and with multiple thematic approaches.
