Crochê em símbolos : projeto de um material instrucional de gráficos de crochê

Abstract

Esse Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresenta o projeto de um material instrucional de auxílio à aprendizagem de gráficos de crochê no Brasil. Formados por um sistema simbólico, tais gráficos visam o esclarecimento de instruções de crochê, ao sintetizarem o conhecimento sem depender unicamente de recursos textuais e ao permitirem sua interpretação por pessoas de diferentes regiões do mundo. Justifica-se o trabalho pela lacuna na sistematização do ensino de símbolos de crochê no contexto brasileiro, e pela importância do símbolo como meio de sintetizar informações. Além disso, o trabalho aborda o papel essencial do design na construção de materiais instrucionais e os aspectos que influenciam suas decisões, envolvendo cor, tipografia, gráficos e diagramação. Para a realização do projeto foi utilizada uma metodologia que combina aspectos do modelo ADDIE, descrito por Filatro (2007) e da metodologia para materiais impressos educativos de Matté (2005). Em um primeiro momento, o contexto de publicações e recursos instrucionais no crochê são abordados por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Em seguida, entrevistas com usuários permitem a caracterização do público-alvo, a definição de requisitos e a identificação dos principais desafios no aprendizado e utilização dos gráficos. Após, o desenvolvimento do projeto engloba a elaboração do conteúdo e a configuração de uma proposta gráfica, a qual é testada com usuários ainda em fase de desenvolvimento em um workshop colaborativo. Ao fim, o projeto é finalizado e prototipado, atendendo os requisitos definidos e incorporando o conhecimento obtido durante as pesquisas e a validação. Além disso, conclui-se que essa temática ainda pode ser muito explorada no Brasil, e, a partir da pesquisa realizada, permite desdobramentos na esfera acadêmica.

This Final Project presents the project of an instructional material to support the learning of crochet charts in Brazil. Formed by a symbolic system, these charts aim to clarify crochet instructions by synthesizing knowledge without relying solely on textual resources and by allowing their interpretation by people from different regions of the world. The work is justified by the lack of systematization in the teaching of crochet symbols in the Brazilian context, and by the importance of symbols as means of synthesizing information. Furthermore, the work addresses the essential role of design in the construction of instructional materials and the aspects that influence its decisions, involving color, typography, graphics, and layout. The methodology used combines aspects of the ADDIE model, described by Filatro (2007), and the methodology for educational printed materials by Matté (2005). Initially, the context of publications and instructional resources in crochet is addressed through bibliographic and documentary research. Next, user interviews allow the characterization of the target audience, the definition of requirements, and the identification of the main challenges in learning and using these symbols. Following this, the project development encompasses the creation of content and the configuration of a graphic proposal, which is tested with users still in the development phase in a collaborative workshop. Finally, the project is finalized and prototyped, fulfilling the established requirements and incorporating the knowledge obtained during the research and validation. Furthermore, it is concluded that this theme can still be extensively explored in Brazil, and, based on the research conducted, allows for further developments within the academic sphere.
