Corpo e espaço : entre proteção e prisão

Abstract

Este trabalho investiga a relação entre corpo e espaço, explorando as possibilidades de distorção e enclausuramento da figura humana. A pesquisa parte da observação de como o corpo pode ser tensionado e transformado ao ser confrontado com espaços que o delimitam fisicamente, resultando em novas percepções de seus contornos e formas. Utilizando a imagem do cubo-caixa como elemento visual e conceitual, o estudo propõe o corpo como estrutura simultaneamente contida e continente, um espaço que acolhe e é atravessado por outros espaços. Essa tensão entre conter e ser contido também convoca reflexões sobre o espaço fechado como ambivalência: ao mesmo tempo abrigo e cela, limite subjetivo que define o lugar que protege e o que aprisiona. O resultado prático compreende desenhos, pinturas e criações tridimensionais que intercalam tensão e repouso, força e fragilidade, gestos brutos e delicados, propondo um diálogo poético entre espaço interno e externo.

This work investigates the relationship between body and space, exploring the possibilities of distortion and enclosure of the human figure. The research stems from the observation of how the body can be tensioned and transformed when confronted with spaces that physically delimit it, resulting in new perceptions of its contours and forms. Using the image of the cube-box as a visual and conceptual element, the study proposes the body as a structure that is simultaneously contained and containing, a space that both welcomes and is traversed by other spaces. This tension between containing and being contained also calls for reflections on the closed space as an ambivalence: at once shelter and cell, a subjective boundary that defines the place that protects and the one that imprisons. The practical outcome comprises drawings, paintings, and three-dimensional creations that interweave tension and rest, strength and fragility, rough and delicate gestures, proposing a poetic dialogue between inner and external space.
