Carlos Alberto de Oliveira (Carlão) : catalogação do acervo da família

Abstract

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem por objetivo catalogar e acondicionar de forma apropriada, mais de 1.500 desenhos e 31 pinturas do acervo da família do artista Carlos Alberto de Oliveira, também conhecido como Carlão, nascido na cidade de Novo Hamburgo/RS, onde viveu e desenvolveu a sua trajetória. Essa catalogação busca organizar e sistematizar o acervo, facilitando a guarda e a divulgação do trabalho do artista. Ao mesmo tempo em que discorre sobre a questão da catalogação e a viabilidade de este trabalho ser feito por um historiador da arte, também aborda as definições relativas a artista primitivo e artista popular, que, ao longo da história, têm sido objeto de debates e interpretações diversos.

This final course project aims to catalog and properly store the more than 1,500 drawings and 31 paintings in the collection of the family of the artist Carlos Alberto de Oliveira, also known as Carlão, born in the city of Novo Hamburgo/RS, where he lived and developed his career. This cataloging seeks to organize and systematize the collection, facilitating the preservation and dissemination of the artist's work. While discussing the issue of cataloging and the feasibility of this work being done by an art historian, it also addresses the definitions related to primitive artist and folk artist, which, throughout history, have been the subject of diverse debates and interpretations.
