Percepção dos usuários sobre a utilização do sistema Microsoft Power BI na gestão financeira de uma fundação de apoio a partir da lente UTAUT

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa cujo objetivo é compreender a percepção dos usuários sobre a utilização do sistema Microsoft Power BI na gestão financeira de uma Fundação de Apoio, adotando a perspectiva teórica da Teoria da Aceitação e Utilização de Tecnologia (UTAUT). O estudo de caso envolveu entrevistas com três membros da fundação, visando compreender os fatores que influenciam a aceitação e adoção dessa tecnologia no ambiente organizacional. Com base nos dados coletados e informações obtidas, a partir de uma análise de conteúdo, os resultados revelaram que a atual carência de relatórios de gestão financeira na Fundação de Apoio motiva a busca por soluções inovadoras. Sendo assim, a adoção do Power BI se mostra como um aliado à gestão, facilitando a tomada de decisão por meio de dados analíticos. Além disso, as opiniões dos membros da alta administração sobre o uso da tecnologia foram identificadas como um fator significativo, especialmente devido à visão analítica desses membros sobre o setor empresarial. O estudo contribui para a literatura ao fornecer uma base sólida para orientar estratégias de implementação e treinamento, visando a maximização do uso efetivo do Power BI na gestão financeira da organização. Recomenda-se, para futuras pesquisas, a expansão da amostra e investigações longitudinais para aprofundar a compreensão das dinâmicas envolvidas na adoção do Power BI na gestão financeira de organizações.

This article presents research whose objective is to understand users' perception of the use of the Microsoft Power BI system in the financial management of a Support Foundation, adopting the theoretical perspective of the Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The case study involved interviews with three members of the foundation, aiming to understand the factors that influence the acceptance and adoption of this technology in the organizational environment. Based on the data collected and information obtained from a content analysis, the results revealed that the current lack of financial management reports at the Support Foundation motivates the search for innovative solutions. Therefore, the adoption of Power BI proves to be an ally to management, facilitating decision-making through analytical data. Furthermore, senior management members' views on the use of technology were identified as a significant factor, especially due to these members' analytical views on the business sector. The study contributes to the literature by providing a solid basis to guide implementation and training strategies, aiming to maximize the effective use of Power BI in the organization's financial management. For future research, it is recommended to expand the sample and longitudinal investigations to deepen the understanding of the dynamics involved in the adoption of Power BI in the financial management of organizations.
