Dar corpo ao corpo : Xilogravura e afeto entre mulheres

Abstract

Este estudo trata de uma série de xilogravuras produzidas em escala ampliada em torno do imaginário privado de mulheres que se relacionam afetiva e sexualmente com outras mulheres. Além das experimentações poéticas gráficas produzidas pela autora, são analisadas representações de mulheres lésbicas encontradas na Arte, abordadas com o apoio das contribuições teóricas de Marie-Jo Bonnet, da historiografia de Lillian Faderman, e pelo viés da Teoria queer, nos estudos de Guacira Lopes Louro e Judith Butler. Como referências artísticas são comentados os trabalhos de Käthe Kollwitz, Renina Katz, Joan E. Biren e Rosa Gauditano, além das exposições “De Posada a Isotype, de Kollwitz a Catlett” e “Giro gráfico: Como en el muro la hiedra”, ambas realizadas em 2022 no Museu Reina Sofia.

This study deals with a series of woodcuts produced on a large scale around the private imagination of women who have affective and sexual relationships with other women. In addition to the poetic graphic experiments produced by the author, representations of lesbian women found in Art are analyzed, approached with the support of the theoretical contributions of Marie-Jo Bonnet, the historiography of Lillian Faderman, and from the perspective of Queer Theory, in the studies of Guacira Lopes Louro and Judith Butler. As artistic references, the works of Käthe Kollwitz, Renina Katz, Joan E. Biren and Rosa Gauditano are commented on, in addition to the exhibitions “From Posada to Isotype, from Kollwitz to Catlett” and “Graphic Turn: How on the Wall of the Hiedra”, both held in 2022 at the Reina Sofia Museum.
