Do lazer ao cuidado, quais as relações que os jovens estudantes da rede municipal de porto alegre constroem na aula de educação física?

Abstract

O presente estudo convida a refletir sobre as relações que os jovens estudantes da Rede Municipal de Porto Alegre constroem na escola e na aula de educação física ao existir, se expressar e interagir com outros jovens e com o espaço, sofrendo influências do território onde a escola está inserida, e nos modos em que esse território se apresenta na vida desses jovens estudantes. O que objetivou-se neste estudo foi identificar e compreender quais relações que os jovens constroem no cotidiano e no contexto escolar e nas aulas de Educação Física. A fim de identificar e analisar quais são as relações que os jovens constroem na escola e na aula de educação física, a pesquisa utilizou-se do método etnográfico, que utiliza artifícios da filosofia, antropologia e da sociologia, principalmente a observação-participante, para se inserir no tecido social que se busca investigar a fim de compreender elementos dessa sociedade e da sua cultura. Seguindo os procedimentos etnográficos, foram realizadas observações semanais relatadas em diário de campo. As observações foram realizadas em uma escola municipal de Porto Alegre, localizada no bairro Sarandi. Os estudantes observados estão desde a Educação Infantil até os Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental, estão em níveis socioeconômicos baixos e são, em maioria, residentes do bairro da escola. Após as observações, os conteúdos dos diários foram analisados e sistematizados, buscando identificar falas, atitudes, entre outros, que expressam as relações construídas pelos jovens. Foi possível, no desenvolvimento deste trabalho, perceber que os jovens podem construir na escola relações de opressão, deslocamento/despertencimento, autoprovação, enfrentamento, valorização/cuidado e de identificação/referenciação. E também que podem construir nas aulas de educação física, relações de lazer/experimentação, desinteresse, revolta, desemparedamento/liberdade, despertencimento, fuga e cuidado/preocupação. Por fim, entendeu-se que reconhecer os significados, os sentidos e as relações dos outros torna-se um desafio constante e que as relações que todos os seres humanos constroem são negociáveis consigo, com o outro, com o espaço e com o território.

The present study invites reflection on the relationships that young students in Porto Alegre's Municipal Education Network establish at school and during physical education classes as they exist, express themselves, and interact with other young people and the space around them. These relationships are influenced by the territory where the school is located and by how this territory manifests itself in the lives of these young students. The objective of this study was to identify and understand the relationships that young people build in their daily lives, within the school context, and during physical education classes. To identify and analyze these relationships, the study employed the ethnographic method, which draws on philosophy, anthropology, and sociology, particularly participant observation, to immerse in the social tissue being investigated and to understand elements of that society and its culture. Following ethnographic procedures, weekly observations were conducted and recorded in a field diary. The observations took place in a municipal school in Porto Alegre, located in the Sarandi neighborhood. The students observed ranged from early childhood education to the final years of elementary education, belonged to low socioeconomic levels, and mostly resided in the neighborhood where the school is located. After the observations, the diary content was analyzed and organized to identify statements, behaviors, and other elements that reflect the relationships built by the young students. Throughout this work, it became evident that young people can construct relationships at school characterized by oppression, displacement/disconnection, self-validation, confrontation, appreciation/care, and identification/reference. Additionally, in physical education classes, they may develop relationships of leisure/experimentation, disinterest, rebellion, unshackling/freedom, disconnection, escape, and care/concern. Ultimately, it was understood that recognizing the meanings, perceptions, and relationships of others is a constant challenge and that the relationships all human beings build are negotiable with themselves, with others, with space, and with the territory.
