O feminicídio e a metamorfose visual da personagem protagonista da peça teatral A Noiva da Lagoa

Abstract

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso propõe uma intervenção visual na peça teatral A Noiva da Lagoa, por meio do redesenho da Caracterização Visual do Intérprete (CVI). A proposta investiga como a luz cênica e a projeção mapeada podem ser utilizadas para promover a metamorfose da aparência da personagem protagonista, de forma simbólica e sensível. Inspirada no feminicídio histórico de Maria Luiza Häussler — caso que deu origem à lenda da Noiva da Lagoa dos Barros — a pesquisa busca tensionar, por meio da visualidade, a presença e o apagamento do corpo feminino silenciado. Fundamentada em autoras como Pamela Howard (2010), Adriana Vaz Ramos (2009) e Martine Joly (2007), a pesquisa compreende o figurino e os recursos visuais como agentes de significação cênica, capazes de expandir a narrativa e afetar o espectador. O método adaptado para esse trabalho tem como base a estrutura do Double Diamond, combinado com a metodologia proposta por Leônidas Soares para desenvolvimento de projetos na área de Design Cenográfico. Desta metodologia, dividida em três eixos, nosso foco está concentrado nos eixos PCVI (Projeto de Caracterização Visual do Intérprete) e PLC (Projeto de Luz Cênica), os dois eixos aplicados de forma prática em uma cena específica da peça teatral abordada.

This undergraduate thesis proposes a visual intervention in the theatrical play A Noiva da Lagoa through the redesign of the Performer’s Visual Characterization (CVI). The project investigates how stage lighting and projection mapping can be used to promote the metamorphosis of the protagonist’s appearance in a symbolic and sensitive manner. Inspired by the historical feminicide of Maria Luiza Häussler — a case that gave rise to the legend of the Noiva da Lagoa dos Barros — the research seeks to explore, through visual language, the tension between the presence and the erasure of the silenced female body. Grounded in the works of authors such as Pamela Howard (2010), Adriana Vaz Ramos (2009), and Martine Joly (2007), this study understands costume and visual resources as agents of scenic meaning, capable of expanding the narrative and affecting the audience. The adapted methodology for this project is based on the structure of the Double Diamond model, combined with the framework proposed by Leônidas Soares for the development of projects in the field of Scenographic Design. Within this methodology, divided into three axes, the focus is placed on the PCVI (Performer’s Visual Characterization Project) and PLC (Stage Lighting Project) axes, both of which are applied practically in a specific scene of the theatrical piece under analysis.
