A incongruência como um dos ingredientes do humor : um olhar dialógico-discursivo para os dados de crianças brasileiras ouvintes e surdas

Abstract

A incongruência, ingrediente essencial para a produção do enunciado humorístico, surge quando há algo estranho e inesperado, causando uma quebra no encadeamento discursivo (Kintsch e Van Dijk 1978), que pode produzir um efeito humorístico, entre outros (Morreall 1982). Nesse cenário em que o outro/alteridade tem um papel fundamental, compartilhando ‒ou não‒ dessa ruptura, e considerando a conivência entre os interlocutores, a dialogia, a cultura (micro e macro), os contextos discursivos etc., elementos fundamentais para a compreensão dos enunciados humorísticos, um olhar dialógico-discursivo é fundamental para se buscar explicações para esse processo (Del Ré et al. 2014ab). E é esse olhar, ainda pouco explorado nos estudos em Aquisição, que pretendemos trazer neste artigo, a partir da análise dos dados de sete crianças, sendo duas ouvintes brasileiras (G e S), entre 2;0 e 4;1 anos, e cinco crianças surdas (entre 8 e 12 anos, gravadas em contexto escolar). Os resultados parciais mostram que as rupturas provocam o riso na criança desde muito cedo, sendo um indício de que desempenham um papel fundamental não apenas para a produção, mas também para a entrada dessas crianças na linguagem do humor.

Incongruity, an essential ingredient for the production of a humorous utterance, arises when there is something strange and unexpected, causing a break in the discursive chain (Kintsch and Van Dijk 1978), which can produce a humorous effect, among others (Morreall 1982). In this scenario where the other/alterity has a fundamental role, sharing - or not - this rupture, and considering the connivance between the interlocutors, the dialog the culture (micro and macro), the discursive contexts etc., fundamental elements for the understanding of humorous utterances, a dialogical-discursive look (Del Ré et al. 2014ab). It's this point of view, still little explored in studies on Acquisition, that we intend to bring in this article, based on the analysis of data from seven children, two hearing Brazilian (G and S), between 2;0 and 4;1 years old, and five deaf children (between 8 and 12 years old, recorded in school context). The partial results show that ruptures provoke laughter in children from a very early age, indicating that they play a fundamental role not only in the production, but also in the entry of these children into the language of humor.
