Esteartigo propõeuma reflexão sobrea poética da fotógrafa LeonoreMau esua parceria com Hubert Fichte, escritor eseu marido, nas décadas de1970 e1980, quando viveram no Brasil. O texto tem como eixo principal deanáliseas relações queo livro Explosão – Romance de Etnologia, deFichte, apresenta no queconcerneà fotografia deMau. Tais elementos são centrais para quesedefenda a produção fotográfica deMau como um dos elementos importantes do livro deFichte. Nesteprojeto criativo em queliteratura eimagem seentrecruzam o casal deartistas alemães propõe, através da etnopoesiaedas relações entrearteevida, uma crítica politizada da ditadura civil-militar brasileira, assim como um peculiar panorama sobre o período.

This article proposes a reflection on the poetics of the photographer Leonore Mau and her partnership with Hubert Fichte, a writer and her husband, in the 1970s and 1980s, when they lived in Brazil. The text has as its main axis of analysis the relations that the book Explosão – Romance de Etnologia, by Fichte, presents with regard to Mau’s photography. Such elements are central to defending Mau’s photographic production as one of the important elements of Fichte’s book. In this creative project in which literature and image intertwine, the couple of German artists proposes, through ethnopoetry and the relationship between art and life, a politicized critique of the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, as well as a peculiar overview of the period.
