A enunciação em perspectiva : aspectos metodológicos a partir de uma leitura de "O aparelho formal da enunciação"

Abstract

O texto busca apresentar uma reflexão sobre a dita “teoria enunciativa” atribuída ao linguista Émile Benveniste (1902–1976), tomando por base o artigo seminal “O aparelho formal da enunciação”, de 1970. Esse artigo de Benveniste, por ser o último por ele publicado, reúne os mais de quarenta anos de reflexão sobre a enunciação, o que o promove a um momento síntese da chamada “teoria enunciativa” de Benveniste, permitindo encontrar, de maneira condensada, discussões feitas em textos anteriores. Faz-se inicialmente uma análise de documentação exogenética do artigo para, em seguida, apresentar as grandes linhas de reflexão que norteariam uma visada metodológica do texto.

The text seeks to present a reflection on the so-called “enunciative theory” attributed to linguist Émile Benveniste (1902–1976), based on the 1970 seminal article “The formal apparatus of enunciation”. Since it is the last article published by Benveniste, it converges his more than forty years of reflections on enunciation, which means it represents the moment when Benveniste’s so-called “enunciative theory” is synthesized, allowing one to find condensed discussions made in previous texts. Initially, we analyze the exogenetic documentation of the article to then present the main lines of reflection that guide a methodological approach to the text.
