Aspectos epistemológicos da recepção de Saussure na linguística brasileira

Abstract

Este artigo busca delinear uma recepção do pensamento teórico de Ferdinand de Saussure no Brasil, a partir da análise da recepção do livro Curso de linguística geral na linguística brasileira. Elabora-se, para tanto, uma perspectiva de entendimento de “recepção” com base em Milner (2021), em que adquire destaque a ideiade verificar em que sentido o entendimento de ciência linguística, no contexto disciplinar e institucional da linguística, brasileira, sofreu algum efeito de Saussure. Toma-se como índice de análise o advento da tradução brasileira do livro e seu contextoepistemológico.

This article aims to outline the reception of Ferdinand de Saussure's theoretical thought in Brazil by analyzing the reception of the book *Course in General Linguistics* within Brazilian linguistics. To achieve this, a perspective on "reception" is developed based on Milner (2021), highlighting the idea of examining to what extent the understanding of linguistic science, within the disciplinary and institutional context of Brazilian linguistics, was influenced by Saussure. The advent of the Brazilian translation of the book and its epistemological context are used as the basis for analysis.
