Metátese catalítica de olefinas

Abstract

The metathesis olefin reaction was reviewed. All the different types of reactions in this field were covered. Reactions of non-functionalized and functionalized olefins were exemplified. The importance of these kind of reactions was shown with products that varied from phenomones to special polymers. Furthermore, the mechanisms involved in this reaction were discussed and the catalytic systems known were described.
