A geografia das criptomoedas na era digital : uma análise geoespacial e geoeconomica

Abstract

O estudo da relação entre o espaço geográfico e as finanças vem de longa data. Ao longo da nossa história, diversos sistemas monetários surgiram para atender às demandas da sociedade. E, por vezes, muitos sistemas caíram em desuso, colapsaram ou foram substituídos de acordo com a necessidade de seus indivíduos. Com a chegada das criptomoedas, houve uma corrida nas mais diversas áreas do conhecimento humando, para entender do que se tratava, qual a verdadeira utilidade dessa nova tecnologia no mundo atual e como essa nova forma de dinheiro está mudando economicamente a forma como a população transaciona bens, produtos e serviços. Diante deste cenário, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar de forma geoespacial e geoeconômica a utilização de criptomoedas pela população brasileira, bem como de que forma a recente crise financeira do mundo influenciou no surgimento e na expansão geográfica na utilização dessa tecnologia. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho aborda tanto a revisão bibiográfica da literatura nacional como internacional, dados estatísticos de órgãos reguladores ao redor do mundo, pesquisas populacionais baseados em artigos cietíficos e teses de doutorados, relatórios de indicadores econômicos, índices e gráficos elaborados através de pesquisas de mercado entre outros. Ao final, concluí-se que o cenário de utilização das criptomoedas no Brasil demonstra-se favorável por parte da população que já utiliza e investe nestes criptoativos, porém com percalços tanto no cenário geopolítico quanto geoeconômico, mas com grande capacidade de expansão ao longo dos anos e principalmente uma grande e poderosa ferramenta contra a pobreza, a melhor distribuição de renda e uma maior acessibilidade ao dinheiro.

The study of the relationship between geographic space and finance comes from a long time ago. Throughout our history, several monetary systems have emerged to meet the demands of society. And at times, many systems have fallen into disrepair, collapsed or been replaced according to the needs of their individuals. With the arrival of cryptocurrencies, there was a rush in the most diverse areas of human knowledge, to understand what it was all about, what is the true use of this new technology in today's world and how this new form of money is economically changing the way the population transacts goods, products and services. Given this scenario, the objective of this work is to geospatial and geoeconomically analyze the use of cryptocurrencies by the Brazilian population, as well as how the recent financial crisis in the world influenced the emergence and geographic expansion in the use of this technology. The methodology used in this work addresses both the bibliographic review of national and international literature, statistical data from regulatory bodies around the world, population surveys based on scientific articles and doctoral theses, reports of economic indicators, indexes and graphs prepared through research by market among others. In the end, it was concluded that the scenario for the use of cryptocurrencies in Brazil is favorable on the part of the population, which already uses and invests in cryptocurrencies, but with mishaps in both the geopolitical and geoeconomic scenario, but with great capacity for expansion over time. years and mainly a great and powerful tool against poverty, better income distribution and greater accessibility to money.
