Estudo sobre a terminologia da literatura infantil e juvenil : uma possibilidade para o controle do vocabulário

Abstract

Relato de um estudo sobre a terminologia da Literatura Infantil e Juvenil, tendo como corpus textual as obras do acervo do Centro Referencial de Literatura Infantil e Juvenil (CERLIJ) da FABICO/UFRGS. Parte da necessidade do estabelecimento do controle do vocabulário utilizado para efetuar a indexação do acervo deste centro. Tem como embasamento teórico a Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia – TCT. Apresenta o percurso metodológico desde a coleta dos termos até a reunião da terminologia coletada em um glossário e sua representação sob a forma de um mapa conceitual. Estes gráficos facilitam a visualização das categorias e das relações da estrutura do tesauro, que se encontra em fase de pré-teste.

This is a study on the terminology of Children´s and Juvenile Literature; the textual corpus consists of books from the Centro Referencial de Literatura Infantil e Juvenil (CERLIJ) at FABICO/UFRGS. The need for vocabulary control to index the holdings at this Center motivated this study, whose theoretical basis is the Communicative Theory of Terminology. The methodological approach used was, from term collection to the setting up of a term glossary and their representation in a conceptual map. The diagram of the conceptual map facilitates the viewing of the categories and the relationship between descriptors in the structure of the thesaurus generated and the ones which are being tested.
