China : crescimento econômico e investimento na América do Sul

Abstract

O objetivo do trabalho é analisar como se desenvolve o investimento estrangeiro chinês na América do Sul. Para isso, é analisado o processo de crescimento econômico da República Popular da China (RPC), bem como os fatores que foram determinantes para projeção mundial do país. A pesquisa envolve um ponto de vista gradativo do processo de desenvolvimento chinês; primeiro levanta-se pontos determinantes para o crescimento, depois apresentam-se mecanismos que fazem com que o país se insira entre as grandes economias do mundo. Visa-se, assim, oferecer recursos fundamentais para a compreensão da estratégia de expansão das empresas multinacionais chinesas. O conceito de investimento estrangeiro também é oferecido com intuito de facilitar a compreensão do estudo. Brevemente, são apresentados pontos que comprovam o aumento do investimento estrangeiro no mundo e justificativas para a escolha e a disposição dos focos de IED ao redor do globo. Mostra-se a presença de investimento vindo da RPC, as motivações, as causas e as possíveis consequências de possuir capitais chineses na sub-região. O trabalho faz questão de salientar a estratégia chinesa para expandir sua atuação mundial e está pautado em dois pontos, constantemente levantados no corpo deste estudo, que são o pragmatismo e os ideais de crescimento pacífico sempre pregados pela RPC nas relações estabelecidas com outros países.

The objective of the work is to analyze how Chinese foreign investment in South America is developed. The economic growth process of the People's Republic of China is analyzed, as well as factors that were determinant for the country's global projection. The research involves a gradual view of the Chinese development process, first raising determining points for growth, then presenting mechanisms that would make the country one of the major economies in the world to. The idea is to offer enough resources to understand why the Chinese multinational companies' expansion strategy. The concept of foreign investment is also offered in order to facilitate the understanding of the study. Points are presented that prove the increase in foreign investment throughout the world, and justifications for the choice and arrangement of OFDI focuses around the globe. The presence is the investment coming from the PRC presented, motivations, causes and possible consequences of owning Chinese capital in the sub-region. The work makes a point of highlighting the Chinese strategy to expand its global operations, which is based on two points constantly raised in the body of this study, which are pragmatism and the ideas of peaceful growth always preached by the PRC in relations established with other countries.
