The history of the presence of women in Brazilian football dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, mainly in urban areas. The present study starts from the understanding that the obstacles that women have historically been facing to be in football are linked to impediments that precede their entry on the field, as many are related to gender inequalities. But I believe that the resumption of women's football in the “times de camisa” of Porto Alegre has become a new stage in which it is possible to identify the performance of some actions to clear and remove some obstacles. Considering this new scenario, the objective of this research was to understand how the (dis) impediments of women's football occurred in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, more specifically, in the two reference clubs: Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense and Sport Club Internacional. I initially carried out documentary research. But the theoretical and methodological anchoring of this study is based on Oral History and the History of the Present Time, which are used both as a procedure for the production of sources as an analytical possibility. I approached the investigation of gender and women studies in sport, especially those that contemplate biographical narratives. The thesis, therefore, was carried out through three separate studies that dialogue with each other and complement each other, as provided for in the Internal Regulations of the Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences. Thus, after presenting the contextualization of the theme and its theoretical-methodological framework, I developed specific studies, namely: the first study focuses on the documents that propelled the resumption of football in the “times de camisa” from Rio Grande do Sul and which were produced by FIFA, CONMEBOL and CBF; the second describes the paths taken by Grêmio and Internacional regarding the reactivation of women's football, participation in championships, the structuring of grassroots teams, among other actions in favor of the development of the sport; and the third and last study highlights the role of women in different occupations around football, considering, above all, their own narratives. As a result, it was reaffirmed that the sport is a sport that is still in constant instability in Brazil. But if in a period the milestones for women in football were the persecutions and prohibitions and their devaluation, it is being represented by unimpeded and visible, which does not mean to say that the struggles and resistances have ceased. On the contrary, they continue in the daily life of the sport, and some of the voices that claim rights are being heard by the owners of the ball. Upon concluding my investigation, I identified clearing actions in the football of women from Rio Grande do Sul that were fundamental for winning titles and maintaining teams. The role of women in the world of football still lacks studies on different categories of social analysis and knowledge of past, present and even projected stories for the future of the sport. It is important to maintain the knowledge of this football and to disseminate debates in this environment for a constant and permanent path of valorization and qualification of the sport.en
