Para além da sala de aula: a Galeria Experimental como espaço de difusão cultural

Abstract

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso pesquisa o papel da Galeria Experimental do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Sul-rio-grandense (IFSul), Câmpus Sapucaia do Sul, como um espaço de difusão cultural na Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre-RS. Analisa a história do IFSul e sua relação com a produção de atividades culturais e principalmente investiga a Galeria Experimental como um fenômeno cultural, a partir de seu processo de implementação, a fim de compreendê-la dentro deste espaço escolar e sua relação com a comunidade. Para o embasamento teórico utiliza os conceitos de fato museal (GUARNIERI, [1981] 2010), educação dialógica (FREIRE, 2019) e ação cultural (COELHO NETO, 1997). Estes colaboraram no processo de reflexão e análise acerca da atuação da Galeria Experimental no ambiente que ela ocupa. A metodologia aplicada nesta pesquisa abrange a análise bibliográfica e documental a fim de compreender a história da instituição que abriga a Galeria Experimental, o IFSul Câmpus Sapucaia do Sul, assim como ir a fundo na narrativa da criação do próprio espaço. Além disso, foram distribuídos questionários para os variados agentes que ocupam de formas diferentes este ambiente. A pesquisa destaca a importância da existência de projetos que subvertem o conhecido e o usual, evidenciando o impacto que um espaço de fruição de arte e de produção cultural no ambiente escolar pode gerar naqueles que o usufruem. Conclui que a Galeria Experimental possui aproximações com o campo da Museologia, onde destaca-se relações e experiências propiciadas de caráter museal. Da mesma forma, nota-se a aplicação das ideias de educação dialógica na forma de trabalho da equipe, assim como identifica-se a Galeria Experimental como um projeto de ação cultural.

This course conclusion paper investigates the role of the Experimental Gallery of the South rio-grandense Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IFSul), Sapucaia do Sul Campus, as a space for cultural diffusion in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre-RS. It analyzes the history of IFSul and its relationship with the production of cultural activities and mainly investigates the Experimental Gallery as a cultural phenomenon, based on its implementation process, in order to understand it within this school environment and its relationship with the community. For the theoretical basis, this work uses the concepts of museological fact (GUARNIERI, [1981] 2010), dialogic education (FREIRE, 2019) and cultural action (COELHO NETO, 1997). These collaborated in the process of reflection and analysis of the functioning of the Experimental Gallery in the space it occupies. The methodology applied in this research includes bibliographic and documentary analysis in order to understand the history of the institution that houses the Experimental Gallery, the IFSul Sapucaia do Sul Campus, as well as going deeper into the narrative of the creation of the space itself. In addition, questionnaires were distributed to the various agents who occupy this environment in different ways. The research highlights the importance of the existence of projects that subvert the known and the usual, highlighting the impact that a space for the appreciation of art and cultural production in the school environment can generate in those who enjoy it. It concludes that the Experimental Gallery has approximations with the field of museology, in which relations and experiences of a museological character stand out. Likewise, the application of the ideals of dialogic education to the team's work is noted, as well as the Experimental Gallery is identified as a cultural action project.
