Análise da demanda por transporte coletivo responsivo à demanda utilizando o método da preferência declarada

Abstract

A inovação e tecnologia possibilitaram o desenvolvimento de aplicativos para solicitação de viagens urbanas, facilitando a oferta de diferentes serviços transporte. Nesse cenário, aumenta-se a facilidade da oferta dos serviços de transportes responsivos à demanda, como Uber e Cabify, que também podem ser utilizados para a oferta de um novo serviço: o transporte coletivo responsivo à demanda. Com o objetivo de identificar a demanda por esse serviço na cidade de Porto Alegre-RS, utilizou-se o método de Preferência Declarada, aplicando questionários que ilustram viagens hipotéticas e que permitem a avaliação conjunta de diversos atributos. Os resultados apontam que existe interesse da população em utilizar o transporte coletivo responsivo à demanda com tarifas mais altas do que a tarifa de ônibus convencional e a nova opção de serviço teve maior aceitação pelo público feminino.

Innovation and technology have enabled the development of applications for requesting urban travel, making it easier to offer different transport services. In this scenario, the provision of demand responsive transport services - such as Uber and Cabify – increase and can also be used to offer a new service: demand responsive collective transportation. In order to identify the demand for this service in the city of Porto Alegre-RS, the Declared Preference method was used, applying questionnaires that illustrate hypothetical trips and allow the joint evaluation of several attributes. The results indicate that there is an interest of the population in using the demand responsive collective transportation with fares higher than the conventional bus fare and the new service option was more accepted by the female community
