Por uma problematização da distinção normal / patológico na linguagem : uma abordagem enunciativa

Abstract

O presente trabalho se desenvolve no intuito de problematizar, através de uma perspectiva enunciativa, a polaridade linguagem normal/linguagem patológica nos estudos sobre distúrbios de linguagem, através da constatação de que os mecanismos linguísticos pertencentes à fala dita “comum” – e que são repertoriados em vários estudos ligados à língua falada – são usados na fala em situação de clínica dos distúrbios de linguagem. O trabalho está organizado em 4 capítulos: no primeiro capítulo, realiza-se a problematização da dicotomia normal/patológico por meio da explicitação de diferentes perspectivas teóricas sobre o assunto; no segundo capítulo, faz-se a revisão e descrição de dois mecanismos linguísticos constitutivos da fala cotidiana, o par pergunta-resposta e a repetição; no terceiro capítulo, realiza-se uma breve discussão de ordem teórico-metodológica sobre a especificidade de alguns aspectos relativos à perspectiva enunciativa de análise da linguagem; no quarto capítulo, parte-se para a identificação e descrição dos mecanismos linguísticos apresentados em dados oriundos de clínica dos distúrbios de linguagem. Concluindo, as investigações realizadas neste trabalho permitem constatar que a diferenciação entre linguagem normal e linguagem patológica não se mostra de forma tão evidente e não pode ser vista em termos unicamente formais. As conclusões apontam, pois, para o funcionamento da linguagem como o diferencial entre a fala em situação cotidiana e em situação de clínica dos distúrbios de linguagem.

This study is developed with the purpose of problematizing, from a perspective of the theory of énonciation, the polarity normal language/pathological language in the studies about language disturbs through the observation that many of the linguistic mechanisms belonging to the so-called “common speech” – and which are listed in many studies related to spoken language – are also used in situation of clinic of language disturbs. The paper is organized in 4 chapters: in the first chapter, the problematization of the normal/pathological dichotomy is proposed by presenting different theoretical approaches about the issue; in the second chapter, two linguistic mechanisms, the pair question-response and the repetition, both constitutive of the “common speech”, are reviewed and described; in the third chapter, it is made a brief theoretical-methodological discussion concerning to the specificity of some aspects of the enunciative perspective of language analysis. In the fourth chapter, it is made the identification and description of the presented linguistic mechanisms in dialogs taken from clinic of language disturbs. Finally, the investigations made in this paper allow the conclusion that the difference between normal language and pathological language is not so clearly evident and cannot be seen only in formal terms. The conclusions point out, thus, to the operation of language as the main differential between speech in common situation and in situation of clinic of language disturbs.
