Abstract in Portuguese (Brasil)

Abstract
The principal objective of this exploratory study is to analyse the MIG/MAG welding processes, in particular the relation between pulsed wave and variabl polarity in the geometry of additive manufacturing weld beads. Three levels of negative polarity (EN %) were evaluated: 0% of negative electrode, 30% of negative electrode and 50% of negative electrode. Stacks of up to four beads were analysed for its geometry and defects. The principal geometrical criteria evaluated were dilution, penetration ...
The principal geometrical criteria evaluated were dilution, penetration, toe blend angle and width ratio. It’s verified that the observed diferences are not expressive, making it difficult, but not impossible to conclude that, despite the present defects, the pulsed waveform presents the best geometric caracteristics among the other samples. ...
