Memórias de resistência : um olhar sobre os uniformes da Segunda Guerra Mundial da Sociedade Polônia de Porto Alegre

Abstract

O presente trabalho se propõe a analisar os três uniformes militares da Segunda Guerra Mundial que compõem o acervo da Sociedade Polônia de Porto Alegre, as vestimentas pertenceram à três associados que se alistaram voluntariamente para lutar na Segunda Guerra Mundial servindo nas Forças Armadas Polonesas no Ocidente. Essa Associação representa um espaço educativo e possui um rico patrimônio cultural constituído de diversas materialidades que preservam a memória e a cultura polonesa e sua trajetória em solo brasileiro. Para compreender o contexto do surgimento desse acervo uma revisão histórica foi realizada na tentativa de compreender as relações entre a materialidade, as memórias e o imaginário construído por esse grupo social. Analisa o potencial destes objetos, por uma abordagem qualitativa e através da interpretação de suas informações intrínsecas e extrínsecas. Ao final conclui que por se originarem em um importante evento da história contemporânea, cumprem sua função como objetos testemunho perpetuando e resignificando suas memórias. A pesquisa evidencia a necessidade de comunicação e pesquisa para esse acervo, a partir de uma perspectiva museológica.

The present work proposes to analyze the three military uniforms of the World War II, that compose the collection of the Sociedade Polônia in Porto Alegre, the vestiments belonged to the three associates that they enlisted voluntarily to fight in the Second World War serving in the Polish Armed Forces in the West. This Association represents an educational space and has a rich cultural heritage constituted of diverse materialities that preserve the memory and the Polish culture and its trajectory in Brazilian soil. In order to understand the context of the emergence of this collection a historical revision was made in an attempt to understand the relations between materiality, memories and the imaginary constructed by this social group. It analyzes the potential of these objects, through a qualitative approach and through the interpretation of their intrinsic and extrinsic information. In the end concludes that because they originated in an important events of the contemporary history, they fulfill their function as testimonial objects perpetuating and resignifying their memories. The research evidences the necessity of communication and research for this collection, from a museological perspective.
