Costurinhas : alinhavando autorias

Abstract

O projeto Costurinhas, ocorrido no segundo semestre de 2016, consistiu em oficinas de confecção de artefatos envolvendo as fases de planejamento, produção manual de artesanato de feltro e avaliação do processo. O objetivo geral do projeto foi o de desenvolver a criatividade e a motricidade fina, além de habilidades e sentimentos gratificantes, através da autoria. O pressuposto teórico deste projeto está amparado pela proposta de Ausubel (2003) que indica a possibilidade de fazer diferenciações na complexidade da apropriação de conhecimentos, habilidades e competências ao longo do processo de aprendizagem, quando esta faz sentido, isto é, é significativa para o aluno. Para Ausubel, a aprendizagem é um processo ativo no qual os estudantes constroem novas ideias ou conceitos baseados em conhecimentos prévios através da ação, colocando a mão na massa. O estudante seleciona e transforma a informação, constrói hipóteses e toma decisões, contando com sua estrutura cognitiva para assim o fazer. O público-alvo consistiu em 12 crianças de 7 a 9 anos de idade oriundas de famílias carentes do bairro Mário Quintana na Zona Norte de Porto Alegre. As atividades foram realizadas em um Centro Comunitário local. Durante o curso, percebemos os alunos participativos e empolgados com as atividades propostas, concentrados e ajudando-se mutuamente nas etapas de confecção dos artefatos. Observamos que o projeto se justificou, especialmente, por desenvolver a capacidade de concentração de algumas crianças que apresentavam dificuldade de perseverar no trabalho começado e pela adesão dos alunos às regras de convivência combinadas na primeira aula.

The Costurinhas project, which took place in the second half of 2016, consisted of workshops for the preparation of artifacts involving the planning, manual production of felt craft and process evaluation. The overall goal of the project was to develop creativity and fine motor skills, as well as rewarding feelings, through authorship. The theoretical assumption of this project is supported by the Ausubel (2003) proposal that indicates the possibility of making differentiations in the complexity of the appropriation of knowledge, skills and competences throughout the learning process, when this makes sense, that is, it is significant for the student. For Ausubel, learning is an active process in which students construct new ideas or concepts based on prior knowledge through action, hands on actitivities. The student selects and transforms information, constructs hypotheses and makes decisions, relying on his cognitive structure to do so. The target audience consisted of 12 children aged 7 to 9 years old from poor families in the Mário Quintana neighborhood in the Northern Zone of Porto Alegre. The activities were carried out at a local community center. During the course, we perceived the students participating and enthusiastic about the activities proposed, concentrated and helping each other in the steps of making the artifacts. We observed that the project was justified especially by developing the ability to concentrate in some children who had difficulty persevering in the work begun and by the students’ adherence to the rules of coexistence agreed in the first class.
