O REUNI na Universidade entre 2010-2016 e seu impacto na trajetória acadêmico-profissional dos alunos bolsistas do Sistema de Bibliotecas da UFRGS

Abstract

"Navegar é preciso, viver não é preciso!” já dizia Fernando Pessoa (2013) em um de seus poemas mais conhecidos. E, navegar pelo oceano de dados inexplorados que há em uma Universidade acerca dos bolsistas ligados ao Programa de Apoio a Planos de Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais (REUNI), existente na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), em especial, entre os anos de 2010 e 2016 e seu impacto na trajetória acadêmico-profissional dos alunos bolsistas do Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (SBUFRGS), é o que buscamos nesta dissertação de mestrado em Diversidade Cultural e Inclusão Social. Estudo esse que se justifica na necessidade premente que se realizem pesquisas e estudos que tenham como foco, além do relato histórico deste processo, o acompanhamento e avaliação das políticas públicas da expansão das universidades, que tiveram como principal objetivo ampliar o acesso e a permanência na educação superior. Metodologicamente, no decorrer do presente estudo, utilizamos tanto o método quantitativo, com vistas a traçar um perfil destes alunos, quanto do método qualitativo, com o objetivo de aprofundar determinadas questões e, ainda, investigar de modo mais acurado certos padrões e tendências existentes no conjunto desta população específica. E, neste sentido, quando olhamos para as trajetórias dos alunos bolsistas, nos é possível perceber que em sua maioria, estes, através de seu ingresso na Universidade, rompem com a trajetória de seus pais e com aquilo que seria “natural” em vista do contexto em que estavam inseridos.

And, navigate through the ocean of unexplored data that are found in university about scholarship students linked to the Support Program to Restructuring Plans and Expansion of the Federal Universities (REUNI), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), specifically, between the years of 2010 and 2016 and their impact on the academic-professional path of the scholarship students of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul Libraries System (SBUFRGS) is what we search in this dissertation of the Master Degree of Cultural Diversity and Social Inclusion. It is justified in the urgent need that research and studies be performed that have as focus, besides the historical report of this process, the following-up and evaluation of the public policies of the universities expansion, which had as main object to widen the access and the permanence in higher education. Methodologically, in the course of the present study we made use of the quantitative method viewing to draw a profile of these students as well as of the qualitative method, with the purpose of deepening in certain issues, and, also, investigate in a more accurate form certain standards and trends existing in the set of this specific population. In this form, when we look at the path of the scholarship students, it is possible to see, in their majority, through their entry in the University, that these break the path of their parents and with what would be “natural” in view of the context in which they were inserted.
