Dos sistemas que constituem a envoltória de uma edificação térrea, a cobertura é o sistema que recebe maior incidência da radiação solar, totalizando, em média, o dobro da irradiação incidente sobre o sistema de fechamento vertical. Esse fator impacta diretamente no desempenho térmico da edificação, podendo gerar gastos com sistema de condicionamento artificial para atingir um determinado nível de conforto do usuário. Este trabalho analisa o Desempenho Térmico de uma edificação, com modificações no sistema de cobertura, em projeto habitacional unifamiliar, fazendo uso do procedimento simplificado e do método de simulação computacional propostos na NBR 15575:2013. A simulação computacional foi realizada no programa OpenStudio, que opera com os algoritmos do programa EnergyPlus. Para a envoltória da edificação, adotou-se um tipo de fechamento vertical, com quatro configurações de sistema de cobertura, no qual foram feitas modificações que otimizam seu comportamento térmico. Após, foi feito uma análise qualitativa dos resultados das diferentes configurações propostas. Os resultados demonstraram que é possível atingir resultados favoráveis para a zona bioclimática 3, com as modificações propostas, pois as mesmas amenizam as características desfavoráveis do sistema. ...
