Super-wiki : um olhar sobre cultura da convergência, inteligência coletiva e cultura participativa a partir do seriado Supernatural

Abstract

O presente artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre as páginas de wiki dos fandoms, especificamente a Super-wiki do seriado Supernatural, como um exemplo de inteligência coletiva (LÉVY, 2000) e cultura participativa no contexto da cultura de convergência (JENKINS, 2009). Para tanto, realizaremos uma análise empirica do site Super-wiki e de episódios especificos da série que referenciam diretamente interação dos fãs o seriado. Utilizaremos também a pesquisa documental de notícias sobre o programa e buscaremos acionar conceitos da nosso referêncial teórico, como convergência, inteligência coletiva e cultura participativa na Internet, de forma pensarmos sobre como estas relações entre o fandom e o seriado se desenvolvem. Entendemos que a convergência, e em par a cultura participativa e a inteligência coletiva, são conceitos essencias para compreendemos as comunidades virtuais de fãs, como Super-wiki, e consideramos que a Internet e as mídias digitais alteram as relações entre o fandom e o seriado, assim como entre os fãs e os produtores da série.

This article proposes a reflection on the wiki pages of fandoms, specifically the Superwiki of the Supernatural series, as an example of collective intelligence (LÉVY, 2000) and participatory culture in the context of the convergence culture (JENKINS, 2009). To do so, we will conduct an empirical analysis of the site Super-wiki and specific episodes of the series that directly refer to the fans' interaction the series. We will also use documentary research of news clippings about the program and will apply concepts from our theoretical reference, such as convergence, collective intelligence and participatory culture on the Internet, to reflect about how the relationships betweenfandom and the TV series develop. We understand that convergence, and in par participatory culture and collective intelligence, are essential concepts for understanding virtual communities of fans, such as Super-wiki, and we consider that the Internet and digital media change the relationship between fandom and the TV how , as well as among the fans and the producers of the series.
