Mulheres, lutas e representações : a coleção fotográfica do Coletivo Feminino Plural (Porto Alegre/RS)

Abstract

O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso se propõe a perceber quais as representações das mulheres na coleção de fotografias do Coletivo Feminino Plural, criado em 1996, em Porto Alegre/RS. Objetiva analisar o acervo fotográfico a fim de identificar a contribuição dessas representações para a memória e construção da história do feminismo na cidade. A partir da observação da ausência de trabalhos que atentem para as memórias visuais e materiais de grupos feministas no âmbito da Museologia, é verificada a relevância da proposta. Para compreender a atuação e contexto de surgimento dessa Organização Não Governamental, é realizada uma revisão histórica do feminismo como movimento social no Brasil e principalmente na cidade de Porto Alegre nas últimas décadas. Posteriormente, é refletida a relação entre Museologia e gênero, a partir da trajetória do caráter social dos museus. Reitera os potenciais de musealidade da fotografia e sua finalidade como acervo na construção de narrativas e preservação da memória. Analisa a coleção de fotografias, por uma abordagem qualitativa, a partir da metodologia sugerida pela bibliografia de Ana Mauad e conclui que as mulheres são representadas através de um viés de presença, protagonismo, resistência e pluralidade. Evidencia a necessidade de preservação, comunicação e pesquisa para os acervos documentais e materiais de grupos de movimentos sociais, a partir de uma perspectiva museológica.

The present work proposes to perceive the representations of women in the collection of photographs of the Coletivo Feminino Plural, created in 1996, in Porto Alegre/RS. It aims to analyze the photographic collection in order to identify the contribution of these representations to the memory and construction of the history of feminism in the city. From the observation of the absence of works that focus on the visual and material memories of feminist groups within Museology, the relevance of the proposal. To understand the work and context of the emergence of this Non Governmental Organization, a historical review of feminism as a social movement in Brazil and especially in Porto Alegre in the last decades is carried out. Subsequently, the relationship between Museology and gender is reflected, from the trajectory of the social character of the museums. It reiterates the potential of the museality of photography and its purpose as a collection in the construction of narratives and preservation of memory. Analyzes the collection of photographs, by a qualitative approach, based on the methodology suggested by the bibliography of Ana Mauad and concludes that women are represented through a bias of presence, protagonism, resistance and plurality. It evidences the need for preservation, communication and research for the documentary and materials collections of groups of social movements, from a museological perspective.
