O abigeato na área rural do município de Quaraí, RS

Abstract

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão do Curso Bacharelado em Desenvolvimento Rural, no qual o tema principal é o furto abigeato no município de Quaraí - RS, analisa e identifica as áreas mais atingidas pelo crime na área rural, o que vem a ocasionar o abate clandestino no interior do município, elencando assim um conjunto de informações a respeito das perdas sofridas com a prática do furto. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa e coletados os dados com os produtores através de entrevistas, buscando responder o que os produtores observam sobre segurança pública e abigeatos na região. Foram utilizados também dados complementares quantitativos para a análise junto ao órgão Brigada Militar. Mostra-se ainda a desconfiança da efetividade em relatar ou denunciar esta prática, já que muitas vezes os órgãos de segurança não são acionados. Conclui-se que o abigeato é uma prática comum e que impõe problemas aos criadores residentes do município com diversas consequências sociais.

The present work of conclusion of the Bachelor Course in Rural Development, in which the main theme is the cattle rustling in the municipality of Quaraí - RS, analyzes and identify the areas most affected by crime in the rural area, which leads to clandestine the interior of the municipality, thus listing a set of information regarding the losses suffered by the practice of theft. A qualitative research was carried out and data were collected with the producers through interviews, seeking to answer what the producers observe about public safety and cattle raising in the region. Complementary quantitative data were also used for analysis with the Military Brigade. It is also shown the distrust of the effectiveness in reporting or denouncing this practice, since often the security organs are not triggered. It is concluded that cattle rustling is a common practice and that it imposes problems for the resident breeders of the municipality with several social consequences.
