Turismo rural no município de Caraá RS : potencialidades e desafios

Abstract

Promover o desenvolvimento das áreas rurais possui significativa importância no contexto atual. Estudos demonstram que turismo em áreas rurais surge como aliado nessa perspectiva. Dessa forma, este trabalho teve como finalidade estudar as potencialidades e desafios encontrados no desenvolvimento das atividades turísticas no meio rural no município de Caraá, estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Para isso, foram realizadas pesquisas bibliográficas existentes sobre o tema turismo no meio rural, além da pesquisa de campo. Para o estudo considerado multicasos, foram selecionadas quatro propriedades rurais da localidade, sendo duas ativas na atividade turística e outras duas que atualmente deixaram de atuar no setor. Para realização do estudo, foram elaborados e aplicados aos proprietários roteiros de entrevistas, posteriormente foi feito a análise de conteúdo dos entrevistados que se deu à luz da literatura. O estudo identificou a importância do desenvolvimento de atividades turísticas no meio rural servindo como fomento para a geração de renda das pequenas propriedades rurais, permanência do homem no campo e preservação das paisagens. Por fim, foi possível identificar potencialidades turísticas relevantes no município de Caraá, porém identificou-se carência de parcerias que possibilitem o desenvolvimento e implementação de projetos para estimular o desenvolvimento do turismo no rural.

Promoting the development of rural areas is significant in the current context. Studies show that tourism in rural areas appears as an ally in this perspective. Thus, this study aimed to study the potentialities and difficulties encountered in the development of tourism activities in rural areas in the municipality of Caraá, State of Rio Grande do Sul. For this, existing bibliographical researches were carried out on the theme tourism in the rural environment, besides the field research. For the study considered multicasos, four rural properties of the locality were selected, being two active in the tourist activity and two that nowadays stopped to work in the sector. In order to carry out the study, interviews scripts were elaborated and applied to the owners, later the content analysis was given in the literature and the results were in this study. This study identified the importance of the development of tourist activities in the rural sector, serving as a foment for the income generation of the small rural properties, the permanence of the man in the field and the preservation of the landscapes. Finally, it was possible to identify relevant tourism potential in the municipality of Caraá, but it was identified that there is a lack of partnerships that allow the development and implementation of projects to stimulate the development of tourism in rural áreas.
