Este trabalho analisa a comunicação da Copa do Brasil em seu perfil oficial no Twitter, uma rede social de extrema importância para a disseminação e compartilhamento de informações na atualidade. Como contextualização, são apresentados estudos e questões pertinentes sobre jornalismo esportivo, marketing esportivo e redes sociais. A metodologia utilizada para este estudo foi a análise de conteúdo. Foram coletadas todas as postagens do perfil oficial da Copa do Brasil no Twitter entre os dias 6 e 28 de setembro de 2017, período em que aconteceram as finais do torneio. Os tweets foram divididos em sete categorias. Cada uma delas foi abordada a partir da exposição de diversos exemplos. Ao final, constatou-se que a Copa do Brasil vem desenvolvendo um trabalho consistente de comunicação no Twitter. Os conteúdos postados pelo perfil do torneio geram engajamento do público e promovem a competição no ambiente online. Além disso, são verificados processos de interação com outros usuários. O estudo comprova a importância das redes sociais no contexto atual da comunicação e demonstra que marcar presença no ambiente online é fundamental para uma competição esportiva. Dessa forma, torneios de diversas modalidades esportivas podem se inspirar no eficiente trabalho realizado pela Copa do Brasil no Twitter para desenvolver suas estratégias de comunicação. ...

This paper analyzes the communication of the Brazilian Cup in its official profile on Twitter, a social network of extreme importance for the dissemination and sharing of information in the present time. As contextualization, relevant studies and issues are presented on sports journalism, sports marketing and social networks. The methodology used for this study was content analysis. All posts from the official Brazilian Cup on Twitter profile were collected between September 6 and 28, 2017, during which time the tournament finals took place. The tweets were divided into seven categories. Each one of them was approached from the exhibition of several examples. In the end, it was verified that the Brazilian Cup has been developing a consistent communication work on Twitter. The content posted by the tournament profile engages the public and promotes the championship in the online environment. In addition, processes of interaction with other users are verified. The study confirms the importance of social networks in the current context of communication and demonstrates that making a presence in the online environment is fundamental for a sports competition. In this way, tournaments of various sporting modalities can be inspired by the efficient work done by the Brazilian Cup on Twitter to develop their communication strategies. ...
