Partidos políticos brasileiros: o renomear PFL - Democratas

Abstract

Esta monografia tem por objetivo investigar, à luz das Ciências Sociais, as razões ocultas que possam justificar a motivação da mudança da nomenclatura do PFL - Partido da Frente Liberal, para DEMOCRATAS, promovida e divulgada na Convenção Nacional do partido em 28 de março de 2007. Proponho hipótese que esta subjacente às versões oficiais divulgadas pelo partido. Partindo do pressuposto de que não são suficientes as justificativas do partido de que a mudança na legenda foi resultado de mudanças que ocorreram em sua liderança nacional, este trabalho propõe-se a investigar o desempenho do partido nas seis últimas eleições e verificar se outras razões podem ter precipitado tais mudanças.

The objective of the present monography is to investigate, through the social science, the occult reasons that can justify the motivation on the change of the acronym PFL - Partido da Frente Liberal (Liberal Front Party), into DEMOCRATAS, promoted and announced at the Party´s National Convention, on March 28th, 2007. Come up with, hypothetically, that it obscurely assumed the official views spread by the party. Presumming that the justifications are not enough, having the changing on its acronym as a result of several changes on its national leadership, this study proposes going on an investigation on the party´s performance through the last six elections and verify if there were any other reasons that may have hasted that change.
