| pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | Purpose: The aim of this paper is to present a bibliometric analysis of scientific production of Open Innovation (OI) area until 2014. In addition, an important theoretical contribution with emphasis to the main dimensions on OI field are presented. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research can be classified as exploratory, descriptive and bibliographical. To the research development the method ProKnow-C (Knowledge Development Process – Constructivist) was adopted, as proposed by Ensslin et al. (2010). The papers were selected from three data sources: Science Direct, Scopus and ISI Web of Science, and the publications analysis was performed with EndNoteWeb and Sci2 Tool® programs. Results: The final portfolio is composed by 51 papers, which were selected according to specific criteria established by the researchers and to their alignment with key terms of the research. Regarding the most significant results of the survey, we highlight the most relevant papers, authors and journals that have published more papers on the topic of OI, and the most prominent conceptual dimensions in the field of OI studies. Research Limitations: With respect to limitations of this work, only papers published as from 2003 were selected, excluding papers that were published before this time limit. Thus, it should be noted that other approaches and preliminary concepts have introduced the subject, and provide a better understanding of the conceptual origin of OI. Originality/value: This paper provides a theoretical framework of relevant publications, authors and most prominent journals on OI area, which can be used as a reference for future academic research. | en |
