A utilização do laser no reparo ósseo : uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo principal compreender a utilização do laser no reparo ósseo. O laser é uma fonte de luz monocromática, que pode atingir altas intensidades, é unidirecional além de ser coerente e com brilho intenso. Os objetivos específicos são estudar as bases biológicas do reparo ósseo e o processo de formação óssea, analisar o uso da luz laser sobre o reparo ósseo e verificar o papel da laserterapia na odontologia. A metodologia é a revisão de literatura, através da pesquisa bibliográfica. Conclui-se que o mecanismo dos efeitos da luz laser nos tecidos ainda não é bem conhecido e uma análise comparativa dos resultados das pesquisas é difícil, devido à grande variedade de técnicas, métodos de trabalho e materiais experimentais utilizados, bem como às variações na dose do laser utilizada.

The present research has as main objective to understand the use of the laser in the bone repair. The laser is a source of monochromatic light, which can reach high intensities, is unidirectional in addition to being coherent and with intense brightness. The specific objectives are to study the biological basis of bone repair and the bone formation process, to analyze the use of laser light on bone repair and to verify the role of laser therapy in dentistry. The methodology is literature review, through bibliographic research. It is concluded that the mechanism of the effects of laser light on the tissues is not yet well known and a comparative analysis of the results of the research is difficult, due to the great variety of techniques, working methods and experimental materials used, as well as the dose variations of the laser used.
