dc.description.abstractO presente estudo tem como tema os fãs do programa Big Brother Brasil no espaço do Twitter. O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender parte da dinâmica das manifestações dos fãs do reality show nesse cenário, identificando os diferentes papéis que assumem nesse contexto, considerando o que tange às dimensões de conteúdos e motivações envolvidos na prática de comentar o programa. O levantamento bibliográfico realizado abrange contextualizações históricas e definições de fãs e reality shows, assim como empreende conceituações de redes sociais, capital social e segunda tela, abordando a apropriação do Twitter pelas comunidades de fãs. A análise de conteúdo, os questionários e a observação participante evidenciam a existência de três esferas de conteúdos e motivações, que dão origem a três papéis desempenhados pelo fã: a esfera intranarrativa, em que o fã assume o papel de torcedor; a esfera da análise de mídia, em que o papel desempenhado é o de analista de mídia; e a esfera da troca de informações, em que se destaca o papel de um produtor interagente.pt
dc.description.abstractThe present study is focused on the fans of the Big Brother Brasil television show in the Twitter environment. The aim of this research is understanding part of this reality show fans’ manifestation dynamics in this setting, identifying the different roles that are adopted in this context, considering what concerns the content and motivation dimensions involved in commenting the show. The compiled bibliography covers historical contextualization and definitions of reality shows and fans, as well as the concepts of social network, share capital, and second screen, while addressing the Twitter appropriation by communities of fans. The analyses of content, the questionnaires, and the participating observation highlight three existing scopes of content and motivation, which lead to three different roles played by the fans: the intranarrative scope, in which the fan plays the role of supporter; the media analysis scope, in which the role is that of media analyst; and the information sharing scope, in which we find the role of interacting producer.en
