Hamburgerberg fest: narrativas para rememorar o patrimônio cultural da cidade de Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

Estudo sobre Hamburgerberg Fest, um festejo que iniciou no ano de 1990, no bairro de Hamburgo Velho, pertencente à cidade de Novo Hamburgo/RS. Mostra o significado da festa a partir das narrativas de seus organizadores compreendendo a operacionalidade da gestão do festejo. Essa movimentação contou com o apoio da Associação de Amigos de Hamburgo Velho, Fundação Scheffel, Movimento Roessler e da Prefeitura de Novo Hamburgo e hoje com a Associação de Moradores e Empreendedores de Hamburgo Velho. Os objetivos principais da festa são visibilizar o patrimônio cultural do bairro, fomentar os empreendedores locais, promover encontros e debates, bem como valorizar as culturas presentes na cidade. Pesquisa qualitativa realizada durante o semestre de 2016/2. A festa que era anual teve sua ultima edição em 2011, porém retorna com uma nova edição e formato de gestão em outubro de 2016. Conclui-se que o evento visibiliza a identidade cultural, articula necessidades dos moradores do bairro e valoriza o patrimônio cultural da cidade de Novo Hamburgo.

Study about Hamburgerberg Fest, a celebration that began in the year 1990, in the neighborhood of Hamburgo Velho, belonging to the city of Novo Hamburgo/RS. It shows the meaning of the party from the narratives of its organizers understanding the operability of the management of the celebration. This movement was supported by the Association of Friends of Hamburgo Velho, Scheffel Foundation, Roessler Movement and the City Hall of Novo Hamburgo and today with the Association of Residents and Entrepreneurs of Hamburgo Velho. The main objectives of the festival are to make the cultural heritage of the neighborhood visible, to foment local entrepreneurs, to promote meetings and debates, as well as to value the cultures present in the city. Qualitative research carried out during the semester of 2016/2. The festival, which was annual, had its last edition in 2011, but returns with a new edition and management format in October 2016. It concludes that the event shows the cultural identity, articulates the needs of the residents of the neighborhood and values the cultural heritage of City of Novo Hamburgo.
