O acolhimento : um relato de experiência

Abstract

Neste artigo, destacam-se duas experiências relativas ao Acolhimento da Atenção à Saúde dentro da Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH) do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Uma das experiências diz respeito a uma visita a determinado centro de saúde pública do Pará para conhecer o seu “Serviço de Acolhimento”; a outra versa sobre uma discussão em uma Roda de Conversa acerca do acolhimento experimentado nessa visita e de uma reclamação referente a uma médica perita. Diante disso, ressalta-se que a atenção em saúde de forma humanizada refere-se à possibilidade de assumir uma postura ética de respeito ao outro, de acolhimento do desconhecido e de reconhecimento dos seus limites, dirimindo as desigualdades sociais, resgatando a dignidade humana, transformando os serviços de saúde e oferecendo qualidade para sua rede de saúde. Enfim, o processo da atenção humanizada pelo sistema de saúde pública deve ser definitivamente instalado, com atendimento integrado da rede; a formação dos profissionais envolvidos deve estar vinculada às necessidades sociais e aos serviços do sistema público; o atendimento ao indivíduo deve ser feito de forma humanizada, acolhendo e cuidando do corpo, da condição de vida e da subjetividade da pessoa. Como base teórica, utilizam-se documentos e legislações do Ministério da Saúde (MS), os escritos e debates de Foucault (1987;1988;1998) sobre as questões do biopoder, os estudos de Mendonça (2009) sobre a violência e os estudos de Ferla (2007;2008).

Two experiences related to the National Policy of Humanization (PNH, in Portuguese) of the Brazilian Unified Public Health System (SUS) are highlighted in this article. The first of these said experiences regards a visit to a public Health Center, in the Brazilian state of Pará, to become acquainted with its use of the User Embracement service; the second one regards a Round-Table Discussion about the service seen during the visit mentioned and complaints about a medical examiner. In this light, we point out that the attention to Humane Healthcare refers to the possibility of assuming an ethical stance, welcoming strangers and recognizing their limits in order to diminish social inequality and restore their Human Dignity, changing the Healthcare services to offer more quality. Therefore, the service of User Embracement must be adopted by the Public Health System along with integrated health services in the network; the specialization of the professionals involved in it must also be related to the social necessities of the community and to the services offered by the Healthcare System. The service must be offered to the individual in a humane way, welcoming him or her and caring not only for the body, but also for the life condition and this person’s subjectivity. Documents and legislation of the Brazilian Ministry of Health have been used as theoretical background, complemented by the works and debates of Foucault (1987; 1988; 1998) about biopower issues, the studies of Mendonça (2009) about violence and the studies of Ferla (2007; 2008).
