As mulheres árbitras : aspirações e expectativas em torno de uma profissão

Abstract

O Futebol é considerado como um esporte de domínio masculino. Contudo, mesmo com proibições e preconceitos à sua prática, a mulher esteve presente na história desse esporte desde seu início, porém com pouca visibilidade e incentivo. Esse fato estende-se aos cargos de árbitras, técnicas, dirigentes e torcedoras. Considerando essa situação, o objetivo desse estudo é identificar as aspirações de um grupo de mulheres participantes de um curso de formação de árbitras de futebol, assim como analisar seus receios e expectativas com relação à inserção da mulher nessa atividade. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, que tem como instrumento para captação das informações um questionário com perguntas direcionadas para o foco da investigação o qual foi aplicado a 14 mulheres que participaram de um curso de arbitragem feminina realizada pela Federação Gaúcha de Arbitragem no ano de 2014. As categorias de análise foram pré-estabelecidas com foco em três temáticas: relação com o Futebol; relação com a Arbitragem; ser Mulher no Futebol. A partir da análise dessas categorias foi possível identificar que as participantes tem forte vínculo com o futebol, pois jogam, torcem por times, frequentam estádios como torcedoras. E, com o curso, aprimoram a participação no esporte e se especializam como profissão. Grande parte das participantes da pesquisa, afirmam que buscaram o curso de formação de árbitras porque gostam muito do futebol e por já estarem inseridas nesse meio. Relatam que enfrentam situações de machismo e preconceito na prática da arbitragem tanto por parte de jogadores quanto de torcedores. Apesar desta situação as aspirantes a árbitras, apontam que a mulher deve se apoderar desse meio e ultrapassar os obstáculos que encontra ao longo de sua trajetória neste esporte.

Soccer is considered a male-dominated sport. However, even with prohibitions and prejudices to their practice, the woman was present in the history of the sport since its inception, but with little visibility and encouragement. This fact extends to positions of referees, technical, managers and cheerleaders. Considering this situation, the aim of this study is to identify the aspirations of a group of women participating in a training course for football referees, as well as analyze your fears and expectations regarding the inclusion of women in this activity. This is a qualitative research, which has as a tool to capture information from a questionnaire with questions directed to the focus of the investigation which was applied to 14 women who attended a course of female arbitration conducted by the Gaucho Federation of Arbitration in the year 2014. The categories were predetermined focusing on three themes: the relationship with football; relation to arbitration; be Woman in Football. From the analysis of these categories, we found that the participants have strong ties to football because they play, cheer for teams, stadiums attend as cheerleaders. And with the course, enhance participation in sport and specialize as a profession. Much of the research participants, sought to argue that the training course for referees because they are very fond of football and they are already inserted in the middle. Report that face situations of sexism and prejudice in the practice of arbitrage by both players and fans. Despite this the aspiring referees, suggest that women should seize this environment and overcome obstacles he encounters along its trajectory in this sport.
