A exposição buscou homenagear Maria Lenk, falecida em 2007. Maria Emma Hulda Lenk Ziegler foi nadadora e professora de Educação Física formada pela USP em 1935. Foi a primeira mulher sul-americana a participar de uma edição dos Jogos Olímpicos, em Los Angeles no ano de 1932. Em 1939 quebrou dois recordes mundiais e na categoria master obteve importantes vitórias. Foram expostos livros de Maria Lenk, alguns documentos pessoais e reportagens. A exposição esteve aberta para visitação na Biblioteca Edgard Sperb, da ESEF, no período de 29 de agosto à 04 de dezembro de 2007.
