Relações internacionais do Paraguai : aspectos históricos, econômicos e de segurança

Abstract

Esse trabalho trata das relações internacionais do Paraguai, enfocadas sob o prisma de sua história, economia e segurança. A ênfase adotada justifica-se pela pretensão de demonstrar que os paraguaios são protagonistas de uma trajetória épica, da economia que mais cresce na América do Sul, ainda que de uma sociedade desigual permeada por problemas de segurança. O objetivo principal, que justifica a associação dos três temas, é enfatizar o papel dos paraguaios na escolha de seu destino, em seu futuro, que diferentemente da história, ainda está por ser escrito. Com isso, espera-se justificar a ênfase na Segunda Imagem, sem prejuízo do enfoque das Relações Internacionais, que preside a formulação dos cenários e a ótica do interesse regional.

This work deals with international relations of Paraguay, seen through the prism of its history, economy and security. The emphasis adopted is justified by the claim to demonstrate that the Paraguayans are protagonists of an epic journey, the fastest economic growth in South America, albeit in an unequal society permeated by security problems. The main objective that justifies the association of the three themes is to emphasize the role of Paraguayans in choosing their destiny, which remains in the future, that, unlike history, is yet to be written. Thus, it is expected to justify the emphasis on the Second Image, notwithstanding the approach of International Relations, who chairs the formulation of scenarios and the perspective of regional interest.
