Manual do código florestal ao alcance do entendimento dos agricultores do município do Caraá - RS

Abstract

Este trabalho teve como principal objetivo a elaboração de um material explicativo sobre o Novo Código Florestal, que levasse em consideração as dificuldades específicas identificadas através de entrevistas com os agricultores do município do Caraá - RS, além dos pontos de maior importância segundo a bibliografia relacionada ao tema. Para tanto, o estudo contou com três fases: qualitativa, elaboração do manual e confecção da cartilha ilustrada. Na primeira, foram realizadas duas rodadas de entrevistas com pequenos agricultores do município, com uma semana de intervalo entre elas, onde os entrevistados responderam as perguntas da primeira rodada sem ter lido o Código e a segunda após a leitura. Dessa forma, identificou-se a evolução que os agricultores tiveram em relação ao entendimento sobre o Novo Código Florestal após a leitura do mesmo e os pontos que geraram mais dúvidas. Em segundo lugar, de posse das informações obtidas através das entrevistas, partiu-se para a elaboração do manual, que realizou um comparativo entre o texto da Lei e outro elaborado pelo autor, mais simples. Por último, foi elaborada a cartilha ilustrada que resumiu os pontos mais importantes e os compilou em formato de pôster. Como resultado obteve-se um material de fácil entendimento, rápida leitura e que atendesse as necessidades específicas dos moradores do município do Caráa, tendo em vista suas dificuldades, características especiais do município e outros temas que, segundo bibliografia relacionada ao tema, mereciam receber referência.

The main objective of this study was to create an explanatory material about the Novo Código Florestal, which would consider the special needs identified through interviews of the farmers located in Caraá’s county, and the most important subjects according to the related references. In order to achieve that, the study involved three phases: qualitative, the guide’s construction and the illustrated booklet’s creation. In the first phase there were two rounds of interviews with farmers of the county, the lead time in between them was 1 week, the interviewers answered the questions of the first round without having read the Código Florestal and the second round after reading it. Thus, it was identified the evolution the farmers had about the understanding of the Código Florestal after having read it and the most doubtful points. In the second phase, gathering the information gained through the interviews, the guide’s creation started, which involved a comparison between the law’s text and the simpler one written by the author. Finally, the illustrated booklet was created summarizing the most important subjects and presenting them as a poster. As a result it was created a easy understanding and fast reading material that responded to the specific demands of Caraá’s farmers, considering the county’s particularities and other important according to the related bibliography.
