A diversificação de atividades agrícolas na agricultura familiar do município de Sertão Santana, RS, a partir do Programa Municipal de Incentivo à Viticultura

Abstract

A diversificação de atividades agrícolas possui um importante papel junto à agricultura familiar. Assim, este trabalho pretende através de um estudo de caso do município de Sertão Santana, RS, que se caracteriza pela economia de agricultura familiar, analisar o papel da diversificação de atividades agrícolas para a sustentabilidade dos agricultores familiares. Através de um roteiro de entrevista semi-estruturada, foram entrevistados uma amostragem de agricultores familiares, que fazem parte da Associação de Produtores de Uva de Sertão Santana – APRUSS e incentivados à diversificação a partir do Programa Municipal de Incentivo a Viticultura, no município de Sertão Santana, com a intenção de conhecer melhor o perfil sócio-economico dos agricultores familiares, suas motivações, seus entraves e perspectivas para adoção da diversificação de atividades agrícolas nas unidades de produção. Como resultados destacam-se a busca pelos agricultores familiares do município pela diversificação de atividades agrícola, que contemplem a manutenção das famílias no campo e um desenvolvimento sustentável nos aspectos econômicos, sociais e ambientais.

The diversification of agricultural activities possesses an important paper next to familiar agriculture. So, this work intends through a study of case of the city of Backwood Santana, RS, that is characterized by the economy of familiar agriculture, to analyze the paper of the diversification of agricultural activities for the sustainable of the familiar agriculturists. Through a script of half-structuralized interview, a sampling of familiar agriculturists had been interviewed, who are part of the Association of Producers of Grape of Backwood Santana - APRUSS and stimulated to the diversification from the Municipal Program of Incentive Grape growing, in the city of Backwood Santana, with the intention of know better the profile of the familiar agriculturists, its motivations, its impediments and perspectives for adoption of the diversification of agricultural activities in the units of production partner-economic. As results are distinguished the search for the familiar agriculturists of the city for the agricultural diversification of activities, that contemplate the maintenance of the families in the field and a sustainable development in the economic aspects, social and ambient.
