Descrevendo o microambiente tumoral no câncer de mama com ênfase na resposta imunológica e no prognóstico da doença metastática : uma revisão narrativa

Abstract

O câncer de mama é responsável por 11,7% das ocorrências, acometendo principalmente mulheres acima dos 50 anos e está associado com efeitos hormonais, reprodutivos e de estilo de vida. O microambiente tumoral do câncer de mama consiste em uma associação de células neoplásicas malignas juntamente com células do infiltrado inflamatório e de tecido de sustentação. Além destas células, fatores de crescimento atuam neste ambiente permitindo o avanço e proliferação das células neoplásicas, através de mecanismos que contribuem para a manutenção da doença metastática influenciando diretamente no desenvolvimento do tumor da mama. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo descrever alguns dos principais componentes que formam o microambiente tumoral no câncer de mama, elencando os grupos celulares, imunológicos, além dos mecanismos e as vias sinalizadoras que influenciam para contribuir com a metástase carcinogênica mamária. Para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho, foram realizadas pesquisas com base em artigos científicos gerados através dos indexadores PubMed, Scopus e Web of Sciences.

Breast cancer is responsible for 11.7% of occurrences, affecting mainly women over 50 years of age and is associated with hormonal, reproductive and lifestyle effects. The tumor microenvironment of breast cancer consists of an association of malignant neoplastic cells along with cells from the inflammatory infiltrate and supporting tissue. In addition to these cells, growth factors act in this environment, allowing the advancement and proliferation of neoplastic cells, through mechanisms that contribute to the maintenance of the metastatic disease, directly influencing the development of the breast tumor. The present work aims to describe some of the main components that form the tumor microenvironment in breast cancer, listing the cellular and immunological groups, in addition to the mechanisms and signaling pathways that influence to contribute to breast carcinogenic metastasis. For the development of this work, research was carried out based on scientific articles generated through the PubMed, Scopus and Web of Sciences indexes.
