Deu no Financial Times : um Mato Grosso dito pela mídia em traduções e versões

Abstract

O presente artigo objetiva compreender a variança no processo tradutório, considerando a formulação e a circulação de discursos em versões de uma reportagem publicada pelo Financial Times sobre o Estado de Mato Grosso. O corpus de análise é construído a partir de sequências discursivas de títulos, linhas-finas (subtítulos) e chapéus (termos-chave antecedentes dos títulos) de quatro publicações em sites jornalísticos. No trabalho teórico-analítico, pela Análise de Discurso, abordam-se aspectos como a função-autor e o posicionamento da imprensa como sujeito-autor, as possibilidades de leitura, o trabalho da interpretação e a inscrição da subjetividade do tradutor, formulando a variança e colocando versões em circulação.

This article aims to understand the variation in the translation process, considering the formulation and circulation of discourses in versions of a report published by the Financial Times on the State of Mato Grosso. The corpus ofanalysis is constructed from discursive sequences of titles, subtitles and key terms antecedent of titles of four publications on journalistic sites. In the theoretical-analytical work, through Discourse Analysis, aspects such as the author-function and the positioning of the press as subject-author, the possibilities of reading, the work of interpretation and the inscription of the subjectivity of the translator are approached, formulating the variation and putting versions into circulation.
