Mulheres e trabalho na formação social brasileira : imagens em discurso

Abstract

O presente texto aborda a relação entre mulheres e trabalho através da análise de duas imagens de mulheres em situação de trabalho informal: uma imagem referente ao período das eleições de 2020 e outra referente à cam-panha eleitoral de 2022, ambas no Brasil. Trataremos do trabalho preca-rizado executado por mulheres abordando discursivamente, com base na Análise Materialista do Discurso, a questão no estudo dessas duas imagens. Isso será articulado à maneira como os saberes sobre as mulheres são naturalizados em nossa formação social brasileira, considerada capitalista, patriarcal e racista. O efeito de naturalidade produzido pelas imagens precisa ser tensionado, considerando que os corpos que carregam as bandeiras dos candidatos às eleições são corpos de mulheres negras. Com o estudo, tratamos sobre a forma como o racismo e o sexismo se alia ao Estado na forma como as palavras ganham sentido.

The present text deals with the relationship between women and work through the analysis of two images of women in informal work: an image referring to the 2020 election period and another referring to the 2022 elec-toral campaign, both in Brazil. Based on the Materialist Discourse Analysis, we will study the precarious work performed by women through a discursive approach by analyzing these two images. This will be articulated to the way in which knowledge about women is naturalized in our Brazilian social for-mation, considered capitalist, patriarchal, and racist. The effect of evidence produced by the images needs to be tensioned, considering that the bodies that carry the flags of the candidates for the elections are the bodies of black women. With the study, we deal with the way in which racism and sexism are allied to the State in the way words gain meaning.
