Juventudes escolarizadas de Igrejinha - RS : entre a escola e a cidade

Abstract

O município de Igrejinha localiza-se no interior do Rio Grande do Sul, a cerca de 90km da capital gaúcha. Fundado por influências de imigrantes e descendentes germânicos, desenvolveu-se principalmente baseado na indústria calçadista a partir da década de 1970. É neste cenário que se desenvolveu a presente pesquisa, tendo como participantes as juventudes escolarizadas do terceiro ano do Ensino Médio de uma escola pública estadual presente no município. O objetivo principal do trabalho foi analisar as relações existentes entre as juventudes escolarizadas de Igrejinha com a escola e cidade. O referencial teórico foi dividido em três momentos de discussão, sendo eles: I) Juventudes; II) Juventudes e educação; III) Juventudes e cidade. A realização do estudo baseou-se na aplicação de questionários, de forma presencial, junto aos jovens na escola pesquisada. Na garantia dos cuidados éticos, a partir da Resolução 510/2016 do CNS, a instituição e participantes não foram identificados, todos tendo assinado os termos e documentação pertinente. Com os resultados, pudemos conhecer as juventudes investigadas, trazendo suas visões sobre esse período da vida, o que as caracterizam como tal e o que significa ser jovem. As respostas produzidas corroboram com a ideia de que existem múltiplas juventudes, pois embora estejam na mesma faixa etária, as vivências e experiências são distintas. Ficou claro que gostam da escola, identificando-a como fase importante para os seus projetos de vida. Os dados também evidenciam a importância da escola para além do caráter educacional, colocando em ênfase o papel socializador da mesma. Os jovens disseram gostar de estudar na escola em que estudam, elencando uma série de aspectos como o acolhimento e o fato de ser um espaço agradável. Mesmo com os problemas de infraestrutura levantados por eles. Da mesma forma, tem identificação com a cidade que experienciam diariamente, afirmando ser uma boa cidade para se viver. Neste contexto, o bairro Centro aparece como um espaço de grande circulação por conta dos serviços oferecidos, apesar de pouquíssimos dos alunos pesquisados residirem no bairro. Quanto ao lazer, os espaços públicos são bastante procurados, especialmente praças e campos de futebol. Por fim, os jovens respondentes mostraram consciência dos pontos positivos e negativos sobre a cidade de Igrejinha, além de destacarem a ausência de shoppings e faculdades no município.

The municipality of Igrejinha is located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, approximately 90km from the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Founded by the influences of Germanic immigrants and descendants, it developed mainly based on the footwear industry from the 1970s onwards. It is in this scenario that the present research was developed, with participants in the third year of high school at a state public school, present in the municipality. The main objective of the work was to analyze the relationships between the schooled youth of Igrejinha and the school and city. The theoretical framework was divided into three moments of discussion, namely: I) Youth; II) Youth and education; III) Youth and the city. The study was based on the application of questionnaires, in person, to young people at the researched school. To guarantee ethical care, based on CNS Resolution 510/2016, the institution and participants were not identified, all having signed the terms and relevant documentation. With the results, we were able to get to know the young people investigated, bringing their views on this period of life, what characterizes them as such and what it means to be young. The responses produced corroborate the idea that there are multiple youths, because although they are in the same age group, their experiences are different. It was clear that they like school, identifying it as an important phase for their life projects. The data also highlights the importance of school beyond its educational nature, emphasizing its socializing role. The students said they liked studying at the school they study at, listing a series of aspects such as the welcome and the fact that it is a pleasant space to be. Even with the infrastructure problems they raised. Likewise, they identify with the city they experience daily, claiming it to be a good city to live in. In this context, the Centro neighborhood appears as a space with great circulation due to the services offered, despite the fact that very few of the students surveyed live in the neighborhood. As for leisure, public spaces are very popular, especially squares and football fields. Finally, the young respondents showed awareness of the positive and negative points about the city of Igrejinha, in addition to highlighting the absence of shopping malls and colleges in the municipality.
