Narrativas oficiais sobre patrimônio cultural imaterial : o Círio de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré em Belém

Abstract

Este artigo se propõe a analisar como é construída a narrativa sobre a festa do Círio de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, realizada em Belém/PA, a partir das informações divulgadas pelo portal do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN). A festa é considerada Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade pelo Comitê Intergovernamental para a Salvaguarda da Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, Ciência e a Cultura (UNESCO). O evento faz parte da vida dos paraenses há mais de 200 anos, atraindo vasto fluxo turístico nacional e internacional, especialmente o segmento do turismo religioso. Estudo de cunho qualitativo realizado no primeiro semestre de 2020, adota o método narratológico na análise dos conteúdos informacionais relativos à celebração no portal do IPHAN e na identificação dos principais elementos que constituem o enredo da festa: os personagens, os episódios, os cenários e as sequências cronológicas que compõem a narrativa do site oficial sobre o Círio de Nazaré. Conclui-se que as informações sobre o Círio de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, divulgados pelo portal do IPHAN, constituem os registros digitais responsáveis pela preservação do patrimônio cultural imaterial e dos elementos memoriais da festa.

This article pretends to analyze how the narrative about the Círio de Nazaré, a festival held in Belém/PA is constructed based on the information publicized by the portal of the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN). The celebration is considered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The event has been part of the life of Pará people for over 200 years, attracting a wide national and international tourist flow, especially in the religious tourism segment. Qualitative study carried out in the first half of 2020, adopts the method of narratology in the analysis of informational content related to the celebration on the IPHAN portal and in the identification of the main elements that constitute the plot of the party: the characters, the episodes, the scenarios and the chronological sequences that make up the narrative of the official website about Círio de Nazaré. It was concluded that the information about the Círio de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré publicized by the IPHAN portal, compose the digital records responsible for the conservation of the immaterial cultural heritage and the memorable elements of the celebration.
