Pampa : imaginações, afetos e sonhos

Abstract

A presente pesquisa teve origem em estudos de natureza realizados ao longo de toda a graduação em Artes Visuais, que se iniciaram em estudos envolvendo elementos de Mata Atlântica e evoluíram para a temática da presente monografia: o bioma Pampa. Partindo da ideia fundamental de que tal bioma, tão relevante para o patrimônio natural mundial, pode ser valorizado não apenas com estudos de abordagem científico-ecológica, mas também pode ter sua riqueza preservada e demonstrada através de produções artísticas. o presente trabalho tem como objeto de pesquisa a elaboração de ilustrações que envolvem elementos do bioma associados a figuras imaginárias, em uma proposta de abordagem lúdica e de resgate de valores infantis e de fantasia. As ilustrações culminam na narrativa de uma personagem, Magnolia, que, em companhia de seu mascote, o cão Caramelo, descobre as riquezas naturais do Pampa e vê nelas magia e fantasia. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é despertar no observador-participante a valorização das preciosidades naturais do ambiente pampeano, gerando, então, uma reflexão mais ampla, sobre a necessidade de preservação de ambientes e espécies ameaçados, além de incentivar a conexão com a natureza e o pensamento sobre a responsabilidade que a humanidade tem em preservar para se auto preservar.

The present research originated in nature studies carried out throughout the Visual Arts graduation, which began in studies involving elements of the Atlantic Forest and evolved to the theme of the present final paper: the Pampa biome. Based on the fundamental idea that such a biome, so relevant to the world's natural heritage, can be valued not only with studies of a scientific-ecological approach, but can also have its richness preserved and demonstrated through artistic productions. The present work has as its object from research to the elaboration of illustrations involving elements of the biome associated with imaginary figures, in a proposal for a playful approach and the rescue of children's values and fantasy. The illustrations culminate in the narrative of a character, Magnolia, who, in the company of her mascot, the dog Caramelo, discovers the natural riches of the Pampa and sees magic and fantasy in them. The general objective of this research is to awaken in the participant-observer the appreciation of the natural treasures of the Pampas environment, thus generating a broader reflection on the need to preserve endangered environments and species, in addition to encouraging the connection with nature and the environment and to thinking about the responsibility that humanity has in preserving to preserve itself.
