Abstract
This article aims to present the translation of one of Sofia Parnok's work in the realm of literary criticism. Her work was published in the magazine Sievernyi Zapiski in 1916 and reviews the Mandelstam' verses called Kamien. Like her poetry, her reviews are accurate, sharp and vibrant. When analyzing Mandelstam' book, she positions herself in relation to the author's past, present and future, distinguishing three stages in his creative journey.
