Educação ambiental e a agricultura familiar no Brasil : uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

Esta monografia tem como foco a Educação Ambiental (EA) na perspectiva da agricultura familiar. O estudo se justifica devido a urgência de entender o contexto estudado e a sua influência para com a agricultura familiar. Desta forma, o presente trabalho, objetiva-se a contextualizar o cenário atual da educação ambiental nas questões que envolvem a agricultura familiar no Brasil. Com relação aos objetivos específicos, buscou-se: I) apontar as principais legislações vigentes em relação a educação ambiental no contexto da agricultura familiar no Brasil; II) mapear as ações relacionadas a educação ambiental para a agricultura familiar no país; III) analisar a importância da educação ambiental para o contexto da agricultura familiar no país. A metodologia baseou-se em uma revisão bibliográfica qualitativa de caráter exploratório, investigando os principais materiais de divulgação expostos na base de dados Google Acadêmico durante o período de janeiro de 2017 a setembro de 2022, nos idiomas inglês e português com restrição de localização, sendo incluídos apenas estudos publicados no Brasil. Foram propostas para as buscas a seguinte combinação e operadores booleanos: [("Educação Ambiental” OR “Environmental education“) and (Agricultura Familiar OR “Family farming”) and (“Legislação Ambiental” OR “Environmental legislation” ) and (“Políticas públicas” OR “Public policy”). No que tange as buscas, foram por meio do título e resumo que falam sobre a Educação Ambiental (EA) e a Agricultura Familiar (AF) e por fim, as Leis vigentes com ênfase na AF e a EA. No que tange a amostra final foi composta por 14 artigos depois de organizados e analisados, sendo 3 artigos relevantes selecionados para embasar o estudo e os dados obtidos, permitiram concluir que existe um consenso entre os autores pesquisados sobre a relevância do ensino ambiental para o desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar. Espera-se que este trabalho possa servir como suporte para um melhor entendimento das questões que permeiam a temática e que possam suscitar novas discussões que propiciem uma maior consciência no âmbito acadêmico, nas políticas públicas e na sociedade.

This monograph focuses on Environmental Education (EE) from the perspective of family farming. The study is justified due to the urgency of understanding the context studied and its influence on family farming. Thus, the present work aims to contextualize the current scenario of environmental education in matters involving family farming in Brazil. With regard to the specific objectives, we sought to: I) point out the main legislation in force in relation to environmental education in the context of family farming in Brazil; II) map actions related to environmental education for family farming in the country; III) analyze the importance of environmental education for the context of family farming in the country. The methodology was based on an exploratory qualitative bibliographical review, investigating the main publicity materials exposed in the Google Scholar database during the period from January 2017 to September 2022, in English and Portuguese with location restriction, being Only studies published in Brazil were included. The following combination and Boolean operators were proposed for the searches: [("Environmental education" OR "Environmental education") and (Agricultura Familiar OR "Family farming") and ("Legislação Ambiental" OR "Environmental legislation") and ("Policies public” OR “Public policy”). With regard to the searches, they were through the title and summary that talk about Environmental Education (EA) and Family Agriculture (AF) and finally, the current laws with emphasis on AF and the EA. Regarding the final sample, it was composed of 14 articles after being organized and analyzed, with 3 relevant articles selected to base the study and the data obtained, allowed to conclude that there is a consensus among the researched authors about the relevance of environmental education for the development of family farming. It is hoped that this work can serve as a support for a better understanding of the issues that permeate the theme and that can raise new discussions that provide greater awareness in the academic scope, in public policies and in society.
